I was watching MonsterQuest and came up with the idea for a Bigfoot Research Museum in 1:12 dollhouse scale. I thought about all the things a cryptozoologist might collect: hair samples, shredded tree trunks, bones, maps of sightings, newspaper clippings, photos, books, and most importantly the castings of bigfoot tracks! I made the castings out of paperclay, printed a lot of cools stuff on acid free photopaper and parchment, used bison and dog hair, and made little examples of a possible yeti diet.
The set includes the shelf, the peg board, a bigfoot crossing sign, 3 posters, and 3 framed photos. It sold on etsy the same night I posted it.
I might make Elvis and Alien sighting collections too. ;0
All your miniature work is really awesome, but this is my favorite I think....great set, fun subject, and all the little detail pieces are awesome. Lots of fun
Thanx! I love cryptozoology and was inspired to make this after a MonsterQuest marathon. I'd like to do a UFO and Loch Ness Monster set too eventually.
